A Beautiful Day for a Run

For the last 18 months or so I have been going running with a group of friends on a Sunday morning, we are officially a running group who meets at the local leisure centre, but in reality most of us knew each other before we started running and were encouraged to join by our friend who organises it. My friend had been trying to get me to join the group for about 2 years before I eventually gave in and joined a beginners group. Since then all the other beginners dropped out and I have become a regular runner, and have even started to enjoy my Sunday morning run, especially on days when the sun is out as was the case yesterday.

It's So Pretty!
As the sun was out we decided to run up through Mill Hill Village, whilst I didn't like the hill at the beginning, most of which I walked, the route is beautiful and beats the main roads that we normally end up on. I ended up doing about 7km which I was pleased with and am well on my way to doing 10km which is my goal by the summer, I just need to sign up for a run now!

The Sun is Shinning!

I love this part of North London as one minute it feels like we are in the middle of the City with traffic main roads etc and the next you are out in the country and enjoying views like these.
